ABL Distribution is looking for a hands-on Transport Supervisor to lead our transport operations and drive safety, service and efficiency across our growing distribution network. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing leadership, operational excellence and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the DC Manager, you will oversee daily transport operations, lead and support drivers, manage freight providers, and ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time. You'll play a key role in maintaining compliance, developing your team and driving improvements that enhance customer experience and operational performance.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships and making a genuine impact on business performance.

What You'll Be Doing

✅ Leading a safety-first transport culture





✅ Managing daily transport operations and delivery performance

✅ Coaching and developing drivers and transport team members

✅ Monitoring CoR compliance, vehicle maintenance and transport documentation

✅ Managing transport costs and identifying efficiency opportunities

✅ Building strong relationships with customers, freight partners and internal stakeholders

✅ Using data and KPI reporting to drive continuous improvement

✅ Supporting business growth through outstanding service delivery

What You'll Bring

- Previous experience in transport, logistics or distribution operations

- Proven leadership or supervisory experience

- Strong understanding of transport compliance and Chain of Responsibility requirements

- Experience working with freight providers and managing delivery performance

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

- A proactive approach to continuous improvement

- HR Licence and Forklift Licence

- Transport, Logistics or Supply Chain qualifications highly regarded
