About the role

We are seeking a full-time educator to join our team, our full-time educators work a 9 day fortnight. The centre is open from 7am-6.30pm Monday to Friday, you need to be available to fill shifts between these hours. The position will commence as soon as the successful candidate is available.

Responsibilities of the role

Responsibilities for the successful candidate:

- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the child’s abilities

- Follow a full schedule of activities and routines

- Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment

- Creating and maintaining excellent relationships with children, families and other team members





- Ensuring compliance with routines, policies, processes and practices

Skills, experience and requirements

We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

- Desire to work with children and demonstrated capacity to enhance their experiences

- Genuine interest in working with children and the desire to work with children

- An ability to work cohesively with a small team

- Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services

- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

- Proven willingness to learn and improve

- Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care

- Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
