About the role

A large-format coastal pub and hotel on the Bellarine Peninsula needs a hands-on Venue Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director, you own how the venue feels and performs every day: guest experience, labour, COGS and standards.

Key responsibilities

- Run operations across bar, bistro, functions and TAB

- Drive guest satisfaction

- Own labour and COGS against weekly targets

- Set and hold FOH and BOH standards

- Build and lead the team: roster, coach, hire

- Drive our events trade

- Keep the venue compliant, safe and well presented

- Flag issues early. Bring options, not surprises

About you

- Proven venue, hotel or large pub management experience

- A strong grip on labour and COGS. You can read a week and act on it

- Calm floor presence and high standards

- Current RSA

- TAB/wagering experience (a plus)
