Fleetwood Australia is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to support our South Australian project team on a 12-month fixed-term contract based at our Para Hills facility.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in monitoring construction quality throughout the production process, maintaining accurate quality records and supporting the delivery of high-quality, defect-free buildings. You will work closely with our production, project and HSEQ teams, as well as contractors and other internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections throughout the construction and production process.
- Capture and maintain daily progress photos and accurate quality records.
- Issue, monitor and collate Inspection and Test Plans, following up outstanding documentation.
- Inspect incoming materials, chassis and buildings against drawings, standards and tolerances.
- Identify and report defects, hazards, incidents and non-conformances.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors and internal teams to resolve and close out defects.
- Complete final quality inspections to support defect-free project handovers.
- Assist with compliance certificates, handover manuals and other project documentation.

About you
You are a detail-focused construction professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Organised and solutions-focused, you can identify quality issues early and work collaboratively to ensure they are resolved.
What you’ll bring





- At least five years’ experience in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
- A trade background or other relevant qualification.
- A current White Card and valid Australian driver’s licence.
- Solid communication, organisation and record-keeping skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
- A collaborative approach when working with supervisors, contractors and project stakeholders.
