About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our People & Culture team in Macquarie Park. This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently studying Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline to gain valuable, hands-on experience within a professional HR environment.

Working closely with our HR and Talent Acquisition team, you will gain exposure to a broad range of HR activities, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding and HR administration.

This is a casual position with hours to be determined based on business needs and your study commitments, making it an excellent opportunity to gain practical industry experience while studying.

Key responsibilities

- Assist with recruitment administration, including candidate screening and interview coordination

- Support onboarding and pre-employment processes

- Assist with maintaining accurate employee and HR records

- Prepare HR documentation and correspondence

- Assist with recruitment advertising and candidate management

- Support the Talent Acquisition team with day-to-day recruitment activities

- Assist with HR projects and initiatives





- Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team

- Contribute to improving HR processes and the overall employee experience

About you

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, takes initiative and is interested in developing a career in Human Resources.

You will ideally have:

- Currently studying Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (Third and fourth-year students are encouraged to apply)

- A genuine interest in HR and Talent Acquisition

- Strong organisation and time management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- A professional and approachable manner

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of confidentiality

- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel

- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Previous HR or administration experience is desirable but not essential. We are more interested in your attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for building your HR career.
