Atom Resources is seeking an experienced Resource Geologist for a Perth-based role supporting a major underground mining operation. This position will focus on resource modelling, estimation, grade control systems and technical input across mine planning and project development.

About the Role

You will play a key role in maintaining and improving geological models, supporting resource updates, and helping develop practical grade control processes. You will work closely with geology, mining engineering and metallurgy teams to support safe, accurate and efficient project development.

Key Responsibilities

- Update and validate 3D geological models.
- Analyse geological and assay data for resource estimation.
- Support resource classification and JORC reporting.
- Develop and improve grade control drilling, sampling and modelling processes.
- Provide geological input into mine planning,



studies and project decisions.
- Work with geology, mining engineering and metallurgy teams.
- Identify geological risks and recommend practical solutions.

About You

- Degree in geology or a related field.
- Strong experience in resource geology, mine geology or reconciliation.
- Experience with estimation methods such as OK, MIK or conditional simulation.
- Underground production experience.
- Experience using Leapfrog, Snowden Supervisor and Vulcan.
- Good knowledge of the JORC Code and resource reporting requirements.
- Solid communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
