6 Month Contract for a Landscape Architect to work on City-Shaping "Active Infrastructure" Projects

Exceptional opportunity to join an industry leading, award-winning Landscape Architecture practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Landscape Architect to work on Active Transport and Urban revitalization projects in Sydney. This impressive Landscape Studio have a multi-disciplinary approach to design to transform cities through the creation of vibrant and healthy open spaces, with a focus on blue/green infrastructure, mobility, and urban ecology.

Key responsibilities

- Work within an established team to deliver landmark projects

- Valuable organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team
environment

- Show initiative in identifying problems and leading solutions throughout the design and construction process

- Collaborate with key community groups and bring disciplines together

Skills and experience

- Completed qualifications in Landscape or Urban Design in Architecture

- Passion for active transport and creating a bicycle friendly city

- Client-facing ability

- Written skills desirable as work involves some policy and advocacy writing for exciting conferences

- Excellent Vectorworks documentation skills

- Expert plant/ horticulture knowledge

- A portfolio demonstrating design focused landscape architecture projects

- Local Australian standard BCA knowledge & transport experience

- Exceptional attention to detail and strong technical abilities





- A proven track record of leading and delivering documentation packages

- Expert knowledge and understanding of design, tender and construction processes
