What you’ll be doing

- Supporting the daily operation of busy commercial kitchens.
- Operating commercial dishwashers and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen setting.
- Cleaning and storing kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils.
- Preparing equipment for functions and events.
- Assisting chefs with general kitchen duties as required.
- Following food safety, HACCP, workplace safety and company procedures at all times.

About you

- Enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Has previous experience in a commercial kitchen or stewarding role.
- Understands safe manual handling, food safety and chemical handling practices.
- Is reliable, punctual and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Holds a Food Handler Basics Certificate (preferred but not essential).
