About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Local Delivery Driver specializing in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) for routes around Queenstown. This role is vital for ensuring our clients' products reach retailers and end-consumers efficiently and in optimal condition. You will be responsible for timely deliveries, accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining a positive customer interface. The successful candidate will be reliable, physically capable, and possess excellent knowledge of the local road network. This position requires an individual who is organized, self-disciplined, and committed to upholding the company's reputation for prompt and dependable service within the Eastern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute daily delivery schedules for FMCG products to various customer locations.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are delivered as per order specifications.
- Handle goods carefully to prevent damage during loading, transit, and unloading.




- Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow designated routes and adhere to delivery timeframes.
- Confirm deliveries with customer signatures and report any discrepancies.

Requirements

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Experience in delivery driving, particularly with consumer goods, is preferred.
- Good geographical knowledge of Queenstown and surrounding areas.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of products.
- Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Effective communication skills for customer interaction.
