About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and creative Child Enrichment Program Assistant to support their after-school and holiday programs in Queenstown . This role involves assisting lead facilitators in planning and delivering engaging activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction for children. You will help create a positive and safe environment where children can explore new interests and develop their skills. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, reliable, and has a genuine passion for working with children, contributing to a fun and enriching experience outside of regular school hours, supporting the development of well-rounded young individuals in a community-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the planning and execution of enrichment activities , including arts, crafts, sports, and educational games.
- Supervise children during program hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating program setting.




- Provide support to lead facilitators and collaborate effectively with the program team.
- Engage positively with children, fostering a fun and supportive atmosphere.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of program materials and spaces.

Requirements

- Previous experience working with children, such as volunteering or part-time childcare.
- A genuine interest in child development and enrichment activities .
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
