About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Remote Aviation Safety Manager to oversee and enhance their safety management systems from anywhere. This crucial role involves developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and industry best practices. You will lead safety initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and foster a robust safety culture across the organization, operating in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage the organization's Safety Management System (SMS).
- Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits across all operational areas.
- Investigate safety incidents and accidents, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs to all levels of personnel.
- Promote and foster a positive safety culture through effective communication and engagement strategies.




- Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international aviation safety regulations.

Requirements

- Extensive experience in aviation safety management, with a proven track record in implementing and managing SMS.
- Hold relevant safety management certifications or a degree in an aviation-related field.
- Deep understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., ICAO, EASA, FAA, SACAA).
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Robust leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively influence and engage stakeholders remotely.
- Proficiency in safety management software and virtual collaboration tools.
