About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Insurance Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and internal policies within their operations in Queenstown . This role is critical for maintaining the company's integrity and reputation by monitoring business activities, conducting audits, and advising on compliance matters. You will work closely with various departments to embed a strong culture of compliance throughout the organization. This full time position requires on-site presence at our Queenstown offices to effectively oversee and implement compliance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's compliance program.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the business.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance policies and procedures.
- Investigate and report on any potential compliance breaches or misconduct.




- Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as required.

Requirements

- A degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Significant experience (5+ years) in a compliance or legal role within the financial services or insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks governing insurance.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
