About The Role
- Provide advanced, evidence-based nursing care to patients with cardiac, vascular and renal conditions.
- Demonstrate clinical leadership and act as a resource and role model for nursing staff.
- Contribute to care coordination, discharge planning, and patient education.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, and implementation of clinical guidelines.
- Participate in education, mentoring, and skill development of nursing staff.
- Collaborate with medical, allied health, and nurse management teams.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
About You
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 4 years’ post‑registration nursing experience, with substantial experience in Interventional cardiac and/or cardiothoracic nursing.
- Experience in Telemetry, Cardiac monitoring,
or Acute Coronary syndromes.
- Approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to cardiac nursing or working towards.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and decision‑making in cardiac care.
- Commitment to patient‑centred care, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
- Compilation of rosters.
- Policy review.
- Involvement in clinical education, research, or quality improvement activities.
