About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Community Program Manager to oversee and expand their initiatives in Queenstown, Eastern Cape . This leadership role involves strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of various community-focused projects designed to address local needs and foster positive social change. You will manage a team of program staff, build strong relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and funding bodies, and ensure the effective delivery of impactful programs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and a passionate advocate for community development. Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage community programs from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Lead and mentor a team of program officers and coordinators, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.
- Oversee program budgets, resource allocation, and ensure efficient utilization of funds.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, government agencies, NGOs, and other key partners.
- Monitor program progress,



collect data, and conduct evaluations to assess impact and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders, including funders and senior management.

Requirements

- A Master's degree in Community Development, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in program management, preferably within the non-profit or community sector.
- Proven track record of successfully designing, implementing, and managing community programs.
- Robust leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent strategic planning, budgeting, and project management abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and evaluation methodologies.
