AsourDirectorofLibraryServices,youwill:

- Providestrategicleadership,oversight,planninganddecisionmakingforthenationalMCLibraryacrosstheBrisbane,SydneyandPerthcampuseswhileensuringeffectivetranslationoftheseareasintolocalcampusoperations.
- Ensurealignmentofserviceobjectives,standardsandprioritieswithMC’sstrategy,mission,academicprioritiesandoperationalplanswhiledeliveringevidence-informedinsightsandrecommendationstoMCleadership.
- Providepeopleleadershipandsupervisiontofosterapositiveworkingenvironmentandbuildcollaborativerelationshipsacrosscampuseswhileleadingworkforceplanning,recruitmentandprofessionaldevelopment.
- HoldaccountabilityforLibrarypolicies,governance,risks,andcompliancewithregulatory,copyrightandprivacyrequirementsandstandards.
- ManagetheLibrarybudget,providingstrategicoversightofexpenditureandresourceallocationtosupportteaching,learningandresearch.
