About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and experienced Aircraft Quality Inspector to join their operations in Queenstown . This critical role ensures that all maintenance and repair work performed on aircraft meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, verifying documentation, and ensuring adherence to all specifications and airworthiness directives. This is an essential position for maintaining the integrity of the fleet and upholding the company's commitment to safety and excellence in aviation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed inspections of aircraft structures, systems, and components during and after maintenance or repair work.
- Verify that all maintenance actions comply with approved data, technical manuals, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all documentation related to maintenance, repairs, and inspections is accurate, complete, and properly filed.
- Identify non-conformities, defects, or potential safety hazards, and report them immediately to management.
- Conduct audits of maintenance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.




- Approve or reject completed maintenance tasks based on inspection findings and quality standards.

Requirements

- Relevant technical qualification or certification in aircraft maintenance or quality assurance.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Aircraft Quality Inspector or in a related quality control role within the aviation industry.
- Strong understanding of aviation regulations, airworthiness directives, and quality management systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting aircraft technical manuals, blueprints, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and objective judgment.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accurate records.
