We are seeking a high- performing Business Services Senior Accountant to join a well established accounting practice based in Norwest.

Qualifications & experience

Be CA / CPA qualified (or nearing completion of the program)

5+ years' experience working in business services in an accounting firm

Experience with clients across a variety of entity-types and industries

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Client focused with solid commitment to quality service and client relationships

Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with accounting and financial systems like MYOB AO, XERO and CLASS

Excellent technical tax ability

Be able to work independently

Tasks & responsibilities

Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for a variety of entities including individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs

Complete accounting, tax and compliance actions for self-managed super fund clients including experience with CLASS.

Prepare clear and concise work papers

Preparing FBT, BASs and IASs

Perform tax planning for clients

Liaise with clients, ATO, ASIC and other regulatory bodies
