Talk Energy Solar & Battery is one of Western Australia’s fastest-growing renewable energy companies, delivering residential, commercial and off-grid solar and battery solutions across WA.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and capable Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day coordination of our installation and administration teams and ensure the business continues to operate efficiently at scale.

This is a key leadership position working closely with the Managing Director, Electrical Supervisors, Administration Manager and HR team .

About the Role

The Operations Manager will be responsible for coordinating the daily operational requirements of the business, ensuring installations, administration, compliance and internal processes are completed efficiently and to the standards expected by Talk Energy.

You will act as a central point of coordination between management, administration and our electrical teams, ensuring tasks are followed through, issues are resolved quickly and departments remain aligned.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise closely with the Managing Director and Electrical Supervisors to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the business.

Oversee and coordinate the scheduling and booking of solar and battery installations.

Ensure installation schedules are efficient, achievable and communicated clearly across relevant teams.

Monitor operational and electrical compliance requirements and ensure required processes and documentation are being completed.





Work closely with the Administration Manager to oversee customer pipelines, installation progression, service requirements and outstanding administrative tasks.

Liaise with HR regarding onboarding, inductions and the operational requirements of new employees.

Coordinate priorities and operational tasks issued by the Managing Director and ensure they are implemented and followed through.

Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies within the installation and administration pipeline and implement solutions.

Assist with resolving escalated operational, installation and customer issues.

Ensure communication between departments remains clear and responsibilities are understood.

Help develop and improve operational procedures as the company continues to grow.

Maintain visibility across upcoming installations, outstanding works, compliance requirements and operational priorities.

About You

This role would suit someone who is extremely organised, confident managing multiple departments and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.

You will ideally have:

Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.





Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Previous experience in operations, project coordination, construction, electrical, solar or a similar high-volume service business.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Confidence holding staff accountable to deadlines and processes.

The ability to identify problems and take ownership of finding solutions.

Strong administrative and computer skills.

Experience managing schedules, workflows and operational pipelines.

The ability to communicate effectively with tradespeople, administration staff, management and customers.

A proactive mindset and willingness to take responsibility for outcomes.

Experience within the solar, battery, electrical or construction industry would be highly regarded but is not essential for the right candidate.
