About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated Procurement Officer with a focus on Indirect Services to join their remote team. This position is designed for individuals who excel in managing the acquisition of essential services, such as IT, professional services, and facilities management, from a distance. You will be responsible for driving value through strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management, ensuring that the company secures high-quality services at competitive prices. This role requires excellent communication and analytical skills to effectively manage supplier relationships and stakeholder expectations in a virtual setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and procure a wide range of indirect services, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and budgets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential service providers and best practices.
- Lead negotiations for service level agreements (SLAs) and contract terms with key vendors.
- Manage supplier performance and relationships, ensuring service delivery meets expectations.




- Collaborate with internal departments to understand service requirements and provide procurement support.
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures, maintaining ethical standards.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, with specific experience in sourcing services .
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, requiring solid self-discipline and communication.
