About the Role

Our client is looking for a results-oriented Industrial Engineer to drive Operations Improvement initiatives in Queenstown . This role will involve analyzing existing operational processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing practical solutions to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality. You will work closely with various departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure that best practices are adopted and maintained. This hybrid position allows for flexible working arrangements while focusing on tangible improvements within our operational framework.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for cost reduction.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing tools and methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Design and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, safety, and product quality.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.




- Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure effective implementation of new processes.
- Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering or a similar role focused on operations improvement.
- Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in process analysis tools, statistical software, and project management.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
