About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and articulate Public Relations Specialist to manage and enhance their public image. This role involves crafting compelling narratives, building strong media relationships, and executing strategic PR campaigns to ensure positive brand perception. You will be instrumental in shaping public opinion and driving brand awareness through effective communication. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing for flexibility while requiring presence in Queenstown for key meetings and events. You will work closely with the communications and marketing teams, contributing to a culture that values transparent messaging, strategic outreach, and impactful storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
- Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials to relevant journalists and publications.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media contacts, influencers, and stakeholders.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, responding to inquiries and managing potential crises.
- Organize press conferences, media events,



and other public-facing activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Public Relations Specialist , Communications Manager, or similar role.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing PR strategies, media relations, and crisis communication.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of media landscape and excellent relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
