About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Industrial Engineer to focus on logistics and warehouse optimization in Queenstown. This hybrid role is essential for improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our supply chain operations. You will analyze current warehouse processes, inventory management, and transportation networks to identify areas for improvement. The position involves developing and implementing strategies that enhance material flow, reduce operational costs, and improve overall supply chain performance. Key Responsibilities

- Analyze existing warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping processes.
- Develop and implement optimized warehouse layouts and material handling systems.
- Improve inventory management strategies to reduce carrying costs and stockouts.
- Analyze transportation routes and logistics networks to identify cost-saving opportunities.




- Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to support process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and warehouse management best practices.
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating in a hybrid work environment.
