About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and empathetic Senior Massage Therapist to join their wellness center in Queenstown. You will provide a range of therapeutic massage services, assessing client needs and developing personalized treatment plans to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, various massage modalities, and a commitment to client care. As a senior therapist, you will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of service and potentially mentor junior practitioners within the serene environment of the Eastern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and trigger point therapy.
- Conduct client assessments to understand their needs, medical history, and therapeutic goals.
- Develop and implement personalized massage treatment plans for each client.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care practices.
- Maintain detailed client records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.




- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the treatment room and massage equipment, adhering to health and safety standards.

Requirements

- Certified and licensed Massage Therapist with significant professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
- Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients.
- A compassionate and professional demeanor, with a solid focus on client comfort and safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage appointment schedules effectively in Queenstown.
