About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest standards of product quality within their operations in Queenstown . This role is integral to maintaining product integrity, reducing defects, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and working with production teams to address any quality-related issues. This is a hands-on role that requires a robust presence on the factory floor to effectively oversee and manage quality assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of products and raw materials to ensure compliance with standards.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and prevent quality deviations.
- Maintain accurate quality records and documentation.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment for quality inspection.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Queenstown and communicate clearly with production staff.
