EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - SENIOR COMMERCIAL SALES DIRECTOR
This is a significant commercial leadership opportunity within a privately owned, growing Australian business. The role involves growing the business, leading a high-performing sales team and building genuinely strategic customer partnerships. You will operate at a senior level and move comfortably between strategy and execution. The prospect is Melbourne based and will form part of a broader senior leadership team.
Key responsibilities
Deliver revenue, margin and market growth
Lead and develop high-performing sales teams
Own P&L; and demonstrate robust commercial and financial acumen
Manage sophisticated customer, negotiation and relationship management
Identify and convert new business opportunities
Work across multiple channels and complex customer environments
Lift capability around the team, challenge thinking and build commercial disciplines required for the next stage of the business.
About you
8+ years of senior sales and commercial leadership experience
Strong track record of delivering revenue, margin and market growth
Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams




Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L; ownership
Sophisticated customer, negotiation and relationship management capability
Experience identifying and converting new business prospects
Ability to work across multiple channels and complex customer environments
Experience operating at a senior level across FMCG, food, consumer goods or similarly fast-moving commercial environments
Pragmatic, entrepreneurial style with pace, ownership and execution focus
Curious about growth opportunities and capable of building commercial disciplines.
