About the Role

The Administration Officer for Property and Finance supports the operational administration across a range of areas including financial processing, reconciliations, and reporting through Xero.

The position provides general office administration including supporting committee meetings, property maintenance and applications, and record keeping.

The role works closely with the Presbytery Treasurer, the Synod Property and Development Manager in Tasmania, and the Administration Coordinator to ensure general office administration, event logistics, and Church communities and congregations are supported and informed.

This position is required to work onsite in the office in the town of Perth in Tasmania. Working from home is not available.

This may be a part-time or full-time role between 0.7 - 1.0 EFT. This is a fixed term role for 2 years with the potential for ongoing employment.

About You

- Qualifications in administration, finance or property related field
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Demonstrated experience in financial processes and working with Xero




- Experience working with a not-for-profit or faith-based organisation preferred
- At least three years' experience in a similar role.

The successful candidate will

- Be willing to undergo a Criminal History Check
- Be willing to maintain a Working With Vulnerable People Check
- Have the right to work in Australia full-time
