About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Lead Cloud Architect to guide their cloud strategy and implementation from anywhere. This fully remote role is central to designing, planning, and overseeing the migration and management of their IT infrastructure onto cloud platforms, primarily AWS and Azure . You will lead a team of cloud engineers, mentor them, and collaborate with various departments to ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions that align with business objectives. This is a leadership opportunity to shape the future of cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement comprehensive cloud architecture strategies on AWS and/or Azure.
- Lead the migration of existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to the cloud.
- Define cloud governance policies, security standards, and cost management best practices.
- Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud services and resources.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud engineering teams.




- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable cloud solutions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud computing, with a focus on architecture.
- Extensive experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure .
- Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, databases, and DevOps principles in a cloud context.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
