About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to establish and lead their new practice in Queenstown . This role involves advising clients on comprehensive estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, and wealth transfer. You will play a key role in helping individuals and families protect their assets and ensure their wishes are carried out. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a critical legal service within the Eastern Cape region, serving a growing need for expert estate planning advice in a remote-first capacity.

Key Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to understand their financial goals and family circumstances for estate planning.
- Draft and update wills , ensuring they meet legal requirements and client intentions.
- Advise on the establishment and administration of various types of trusts .
- Assist clients with power of attorney documents and advance healthcare directives.
- Guide clients through the process of probate and estate administration.




- Provide advice on minimizing estate taxes and preserving wealth for future generations.

Requirements

- Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience, with a specialization in estate planning , wills, and trusts.
- In-depth knowledge of South African estate law and tax implications.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in estate planning software and legal research tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage a client base remotely.
