About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS to join their advanced, fully remote infrastructure team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. This role involves working with cutting-edge cloud technologies, automating infrastructure provisioning, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud environment. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize cloud strategies and support the company's growing digital footprint.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, utilizing services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment and infrastructure updates.
- Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of cloud environments through monitoring, alerting, and optimization.
- Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.




- Collaborate with software development teams to architect cloud-native solutions and troubleshoot production issues.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or Solutions Architect, with a strong focus on AWS .
- Hands-on experience with a wide range of AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
