About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Technical Project Manager for a fully remote position serving the Queenstown region and beyond. This role is critical for managing complex, large-scale technology initiatives, requiring a deep understanding of both project management principles and technical landscapes. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of strategic technology projects that align with business goals. This fully remote role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and the ability to manage distributed teams effectively. Key Responsibilities

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects from initiation to closure.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources for large-scale technology initiatives.
- Direct and motivate cross-functional technical teams, including engineers, developers, and system architects.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate project status, progress,



and critical issues to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to IT best practices, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in technical project management, with a focus on complex system implementations and infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience with various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, software development lifecycles, and IT infrastructure.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects in a fully remote setting.
