About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist with expertise in Genomics and Proteomics to join their fully remote R&D; team. You will be at the forefront of cutting-edge research, analyzing complex biological systems using state-of-the-art technologies. This role involves the integration of multi-omics data to uncover novel biological insights and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities

- Design and execute experiments involving genomics (e.g., sequencing, genotyping) and proteomics (e.g., mass spectrometry).
- Analyze and interpret large-scale genomic and proteomic datasets using advanced bioinformatics tools and statistical methods.
- Integrate data from multiple omics platforms to identify biological pathways and biomarkers.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop research hypotheses and experimental strategies.
- Contribute to the preparation of scientific manuscripts, presentations, and grant proposals.

Requirements

- Ph.D. in Genomics, Proteomics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in genomics and/or proteomics research.
- Hands-on experience with relevant experimental techniques and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python) for omics data.
- Strong understanding of biological pathways, disease mechanisms, and statistical analysis.
