About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Information Security Lead to spearhead their security initiatives, operating remotely. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of guiding a team, defining security roadmaps, and implementing advanced security measures to protect the organization’s critical assets. You will be instrumental in establishing and enforcing security policies, managing security projects, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership acumen, extensive knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, and a proven ability to manage complex security challenges in a distributed workforce. Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor the information security team, providing technical direction and fostering professional development.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business goals.
- Oversee the management of security technologies, including firewalls, SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection.
- Drive incident response efforts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security breaches.




- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability management programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Strong understanding of threat intelligence, incident response, and risk management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are highly desirable.
