About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative and experienced Remote Crop Scientist to join their forward-thinking research and development team. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct research on crop genetics, physiology, and breeding to develop improved plant varieties.
- Design and manage experimental trials for evaluating new crop traits, cultivation methods, and agricultural inputs.
- Analyze experimental data using statistical software and interpret results to draw scientific conclusions.
- Develop recommendations for optimal growing conditions, including soil, water, and nutrient management.
- Collaborate with other scientists,



agronomists, and farm managers on research projects.
- Prepare scientific reports, publications, and presentations to disseminate research findings.

Requirements

- PhD or Master's degree in Crop Science, Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in crop research, experimental design, and data analysis.
- Robust knowledge of plant breeding techniques, genetics, and molecular biology.
- Proficiency with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scientific reporting and collaboration.
