We are looking for a Leading Hand Boilermaker to join a team in Currumbin.

This is a temp-to-perm role with the goal of transitioning the employee to a full-time employee

Location: Currumbin

Duties of the role:

- Lead, coordinate, and perform fabrication, assembly, and plant maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor apprentices and boilermakers.
- Allocate daily tasks, manage workflow, and ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Interpret engineering drawings and manage digital maintenance records
- Organise materials, raise purchase orders where required, and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:





- Cert III in Mechanical Engineering (Boilermaker/Welder) or higher.
- 5+ years of post-trade experience (ready for a step up!).
- Robust leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards (AS1554 & AS1657).

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 6.00 am to 2.10 pm, Friday 6.00 am to 12.00 pm

Pay Rates

$65.37 per hour

Weekly Pay cycle

Overtime rates payable when applicable
