Hot Water Maintenance - Sydney and Wollongong Area - Caringbah NSW

Hot Water Maintenance is seeking a skilled Plumber Hot Water Specialist to join our team in Caringbah, NSW. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity for both experienced plumbers and apprentices to develop their expertise in hot water systems and general plumbing work. You will be working across the Sydney and Wollongong area, providing high-quality plumbing services to residential and commercial clients. This role is integral to our business, as hot water specialists are in high demand, and your technical skills will directly contribute to our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Installing, maintaining and repairing hot water systems including solar, electric and gas systems
- Diagnosing faults in hot water and heating systems and implementing effective solutions
- Carrying out general plumbing work including pipe installation, repairs and replacements
- Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of hot water systems to ensure optimal performance
- Liaising with customers to understand their needs and provide professional advice on hot water solutions
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and best practices on site
- Travelling to various job sites across Sydney and the Wollongong area

What we’re looking for

- Completed plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, or current apprentice with robust foundational knowledge
- Current plumbing licence or in the process of obtaining one (for qualified plumbers)




- Proven experience with hot water system installation and repair (preferred for experienced candidates)
- Knowledge of gas, electric and solar hot water systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Physical fitness and the ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport for travel across the Sydney and Wollongong regions
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one (preferred)
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
