About the Company
Verve Partners is working with a well-established construction business delivering commercial and industrial construction projects across the Newcastle and Hunter region.
This is a hands-on Project Manager role covering project delivery, cost control and quality management from pre-construction through to handover.
About the Role
Reporting to the Construction Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of commercial andindustrial/structuralconstruction projects, working closely with Site Supervisors and project teams to ensure work is delivered on time, on budget and to a high standard of quality.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing daily programming and managing project schedules, budgets and resources
Interpreting client needs and maintaining solid client relationships throughout delivery
Overseeing quality control, including inspections against plans, specifications and relevant building codes
Managing changes to project scope, schedule and costs, including variations and claims




Coordinating and managing sub-contractors and site personnel
Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, site safety management plans and company policy
Producing progress reports and administrative documentation as required
About You
Proven project management experience within commercial and/orindustrial/structuralconstruction
Sound construction knowledge, including reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in construction management or project management
Solid understanding of WHS requirements and quality assurance standards
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and sub-contractors
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and problem-solve under pressure
