Role detailsThe Building, Engineering and Maintenance Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Director (Infrastructure and Assets) to join their team on a permanent basis.For information on how to apply and the mandatory requirements for this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.Your opportunityProvide strategic leadership for the delivery of Mackay Hospital and Health Service infrastructure and asset management services including building, engineering and maintenance, medical equipment, capital works projects, and property management to ensure compliance with policy and effectively support health service delivery.About the TeamThe unit provides planning, construction, operation and maintenance of all physical facilities, engineering systems, plant and equipment across the whole of the Mackay Hospital and Health Service, ensuring that all works are strategically aligned, scoped effectively, and executed to meet operational, clinical,



and infrastructure needs.About our Hospital and Health ServiceMackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,500 staff.
