Earthmoving Plant Mechanic / Field Service Fitter n
We are seeking an experienced Earthmoving Plant Mechanic / Field Service Fitter to look after earthmoving equipment operating on civil projects within mine sites across the Hunter Valley. This is civil work on mine sites, not production mining, with day work only, Monday to Friday. The role involves maintaining CAT, Komatsu and Kobelco machinery, attending breakdowns, completing planned maintenance and keeping equipment maintained to a high standard to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

Breakdown diagnosis and repairs
n
Planned and preventative maintenance
n
Servicing earthmoving and mobile plant
n
Fueling and greasing machinery
n
Daily inspections and identifying maintenance requirements
n
Working independently across civil mine site projects
n




Maintaining equipment to a high standard
n
Following all site safety procedures, standards and regulations
n
About you
n
Experienced working on earthmoving or heavy mobile plant
n
Familiar with CAT, Komatsu and Kobelco equipment
n
Self-driven, reliable and motivated
n
Able to work independently and manage maintenance priorities
n
Committed to keeping machinery well maintained and operational
n
Safety focused and able to comply with mine site requirements
n
Holder of a current HR Driver Licence
n
Previous civil, earthmoving or mine site experience will be highly regarded
n
