A leading Australian not-for-profit organisation in the community services, mental health, disability, and social care sector is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Business Systems Transformation team.

n

The organisation provides services supporting individuals, families, carers, and communities, with a strong focus on recovery, inclusion, advocacy, and improved service outcomes.

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will support business intelligence, data analysis, reporting, and data visualisation across the organisation.

n

Working with the Applications & Analytics Manager, you will gather requirements, analyse data, develop reports and dashboards, and provide insights that support decision‐making, continuous improvement, and external reporting requirements.

n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Gather and document business and reporting requirements from stakeholders.
n
- Collect, analyse, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
n
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
n
- Monitor key performance indicators and provide reporting to support organisational outcomes.
n
- Maintain data integrity and resolve data quality and reporting issues.
n
- Support ETL, database,



and data collection processes.
n
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training on business intelligence tools.
n
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to improve data systems and processes.
n
- Ensure data handling complies with relevant governance and data sovereignty requirements.
n

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

n

n
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Data Science, or related discipline.
n
- Experience in business intelligence, data analysis, reporting, and business analysis.
n
- Strong SQL and Microsoft SQL Server skills.
n
- Strong proficiency in Power BI.
n
- Experience with databases, ETL, data visualisation, and CRM systems.
n
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
n
- Robust analytical, problem‐solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Exposure to data warehousing or advanced analytics.
n
- Experience in community services, mental health, disability, aged care, or social services is advantageous.
n
- Experience with Carelink and/or MMEx is desirable.
n
- Ability to satisfy relevant Australian employment screening and right‐to‐work requirements.
