An exciting opportunity is available for a passionate and dedicated dual Registered Nurse and Midwife to join a collaborative team within the Maternity & Women's Health Unit at a private hospital in Brisbane. This permanent part-time role, offering up to 72 hours per fortnight, provides the opportunity to step into a key leadership position and make a meaningful difference every day through high-quality clinical care, leadership, and support for women and their families.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Clinical Nurse/Midwife, you will be required to act as a team leader, professional resource, passionate mentor, and a positive role model to junior team members. You will maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and manage rapidly changing situations with proficiency and care. This leadership role will see the successful candidate be fully supported to enhance their skills and grow a career into a management position.

REQUIREMENTS

- Current dual registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife and Nurse;
- Minimum5years'post-graduateexperience;
- SCN experience is highly desirable;
- A passion for mentoring junior team members and positively influencing their performance;
- Clinical leadership experience is desirable but not essential.

REMUNERATION

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from$54.72- $58.82 +superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
