We’re looking for an exceptional Senior Creative Designer to become the creative content engine behind Knobby.

This isn’t a traditional social media role. It’s a rare in-house opportunity for a designer who can find the idea and bring it to life across whatever medium makes sense. One day that could be a campaign concept or a visual content idea.. The next, you might be grabbing a quick iPhone shot, cutting a Reel, creating motion, capturing something happening behind the scenes, or making a piece of content that doesn’t even have a name yet.

The idea comes first. The channel comes second.

You’ll work from Knobby HQ on the Sunshine Coast and be immersed in a brand built around original artwork, product launches, collaborations, campaigns, events and stories. You’ll never be short of creative inspiration or opportunities to make something distinctive.

You’ll never be short of creative inspiration or opportunities to make something distinctive.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Concepts: Develop original content ideas from campaign briefs, products, artwork, collaborations, events and everyday moments inside Knobby.

- Creation: Create the content yourself across stills, iPhone and camera capture, short-form video, motion, editing and light design where needed to bring the idea to life.

- Launches: Turn product launches into content opportunities, using the artwork, inspiration and story behind each range to create a broader world around it.

- Capture: Find and capture Knobby as it really is across product, retail, warehouse, events, community, athletes and collaborations.

- Pipeline: Build a continuous flow of content for organic social, paid media, eCommerce, email, retail, NFC, PR and other brand touchpoints.

- Contributors: Source, brief and creatively manage content from artists, ambassadors, content creators and other external partners.

- Brand Feel: Ensure every piece of content feels distinctive, cohesive and unmistakably Knobby.

- AI & Tools: Use AI and emerging creative tools where they genuinely improve the idea, execution, quality or speed.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

This isn’t a role for someone who simply likes design. We’re looking for an exceptional senior designer with serious craft,



strong taste and an original point of view.

You’ll have:

- Robust foundations in graphic design, typography, composition, art direction and brand storytelling.

- A standout portfolio that shows the thinking behind the work, not just polished final artwork.

- The ability to interpret a brief, identify the creative opportunity and turn it into an original idea.

- Confidence creating, shooting and editing both still and video content yourself.

- The ability to move between larger campaign ideas and fast, simple executions.

- A strong understanding of modern digital content and platforms without being driven by trends.

- Confidence using Adobe Creative Suite, video editing tools and AI-assisted creative workflows.

- A curious, proactive mindset and the confidence to spot creative opportunities without waiting for someone to hand you a brief.

Formal tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design or a related creative discipline are strongly preferred.
