Warehouse Storeperson – Paint Supplies

The Role

- Serving trade customers at the sales counter
- Taking and processing customer orders
- Assisting customers with general product enquiries
- Picking, packing and preparing paint and related products for customer orders
- Receiving and putting away incoming stock
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Forklift Operations
- Replenishing stock within the store and warehouse
- General warehouse and housekeeping duties
- Checking stock and ensuring orders are accurate
- Working closely with the team to provide excellent customer service
- Manual handling of paint tins, cartons and other products

About You

- Has previous warehouse, storeperson, retail or trade counter experience
- Is confident communicating with customers face-to-face
- Has good attention to detail and can accurately pick and process orders
- Is physically capable of performing regular manual handling duties
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced trade environment
- Has basic computer and order-entry skills




- Has a current forklift licence & proven experience
- Previous experience within the paint, hardware, building supplies or trade industry would be advantageous but is not essential
