Key responsibilities

- Enter the chilled warehouse environment to locate and select specific boxed meat cartons using an RF scan gun
n
- Scan each carton accurately to update the inventory system, verify product codes, and apply the appropriate address labels directly onto the cartons
n
- Manually stack labelled cartons onto pallets efficiently, ensuring stable and secure loading for immediate transport
n
- Place completed pallets in the designated staging zone, ready for same-day transport pickup
n
- Work efficiently within the chilled environment to maintain product temperature integrity
n

About you
n

- Capability to handle repetitive manual lifting of heavy boxed meat cartons (typically up to 20–25kg)
n
- Comfortable working productively inside a chilled warehouse environment (0°C to 4°C)
n
- Ability to confidently operate an RF scan gun or barcode scanner for stock picking
n
- Precision in matching scanning prompts to physical cartons and ensuring correct address label placement
n
- Ability to work at a steady pace to meet daily transport pickup deadlines
n

Remuneration & Benefits

- Paid under the Meat Industry Award 2020, with casual minimum base rates starting at $32.18/hr (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
