About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and thorough Insurance Loss Adjuster to join their field team based in Queenstown . In this vital role, you will be responsible for investigating insurance claims resulting from accidents, natural disasters, or other covered events. Your primary objective will be to determine the extent of the company's liability and the amount of compensation payable to the policyholder, ensuring fairness and accuracy. This position requires excellent investigative skills, solid negotiation abilities, and a commitment to providing professional service to clients in their time of need, operating within the Queenstown area and contributing to the company's reputation for prompt and equitable claims handling.

Key Responsibilities

- Investigate insurance claims promptly and thoroughly, including site visits and evidence collection.
- Interview claimants, witnesses, and relevant parties to gather factual information.
- Assess damages, calculate losses, and determine the validity of claims based on policy terms.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, ensuring fair compensation within policy limits.




- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, assessments, and settlement recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and organized claim files and ensure timely processing.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Loss Adjuster or in a related claims investigation role.
- Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims procedures, and loss assessment techniques.
- Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in report writing and documentation.
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation for field visits.
