We are looking for an experienced Risk & Compliance Partner to join our People, Risk & Integrity team.

n

This is a highly visible, service-facing role where you will play a key part in strengthening compliance, managing organisational risk and supporting our services to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes for children, families and communities.

n

You will work closely with Service Leaders, Managers and Educators across our services and programs, providing practical advice, coaching and support to build compliance capability and foster a proactive risk culture.

About the role

n

Reporting to the Director People,



Risk and Integrity, you will provide specialist leadership and support across regulatory compliance, risk management and quality assurance.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Monitor compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations, Child Protected Standards, Child Care Subsidy requirements and WHS legislation.
n
- Provide specialist advice and deliver compliance education and regulatory updates to Service Leaders, Managers and Educators.
n
- Lead the administration, configuration and ongoing management of the organisation’s 1Place compliance and quality management system.
n
- Provide end-user support, training and guidance to build capability and promote consistent use of the platform across the business.
n
- Strengthen the quality and consistency of care through practical, real-time coaching, guidance and feedback.
n
- Conduct and coordinate internal compliance audits and support services through regulatory assessments and reviews.
n
- Investigate compliance breaches and support the implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.
n
- Identify emerging risks and maintain the service compliance risk register.
n




- Supporting emergency preparedness, evacuation planning and drill requirements.
n
- Develop, review and maintain policies, procedures and practical compliance resources.
n

About you

n

We are looking for someone who brings strong regulatory and compliance knowledge together with excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

n

Other requirements of the role include:

n

n
- A qualification in Early Childhood or Education and experience working in an early childhood setting.
n
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Risk & Compliance Partner or Advisory-level role.
n
- Strong working knowledge of the National Law, National Regulations, National Quality Framework, CCS requirements, Child Safe Standards and WHS legislation.
n
- Experience leading internal audits and investigations from commencement through to completion.
n
- Experience developing and reviewing policies and procedures.
n
- Strong communication, interpersonal and team development skills.
n
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with databases and reporting.
n
- Governance, risk and compliance certification or experience will be highly regarded.
n

Experience within another highly regulated sector such as aged care, NDIS, education or health care will also be valued.

n

An attractive remuneration is on offer of up to $130,000 per annum negotiable dependent on experience. Generous salary packing benefits are also available for employees of not for profits.
