Full Time | Monday-Friday | Modern Facility | Supportive Team
A wonderful opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist to join our team at a well-appointed and highly regarded residential aged-care home in Wallsend, Newcastle NSW.
You will manage a varied caseload, helping residents stay active, mobile, and as pain-free as possible through evidence-based physiotherapy and restorative programs.
- Full time - 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop individualised care plans
- Implement wellness, reablement, and restorative programs
- Deliver exercise plans and falls-prevention strategies
- Prescribe mobility aids and functional equipment
- Participate in professional development and staff education
- Conduct seated group exercise classes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Skills & Experience
- Experience in aged care advantageous (new graduates welcome and supported)
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making
- Confident with exercise prescription
- Able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Familiar with manual handling equipment
- Computer literate with good documentation skills

What You Need to Have
- A likeable personality and solid work ethic
- Recognised Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration
- Current police clearance
- Your own reliable transport
