Insurance Litigation Lawyer (Associate / SA)

Due to continued growth in its dispute resolution practice, this highly regarded independent Australian firm is looking to add an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to its Brisbane team.

The Role

You will join a leading dispute resolution team acting for a diverse range of clients.

The role will involve a broad range of commercial litigation and insurance matters, including professional indemnity, shareholder disputes, public liability and property litigation.

As a key point of contact for clients, you’ll have genuine carriage of your own matters while working closely with senior practitioners on complex, high-value disputes.

Your role will span the full life cycle of matters, including managing files from inception through to resolution, negotiating settlements, attending mediations and litigating matters through to resolution. You’ll prepare advice on liability, contribution, apportionment, quantum and commercial risk, as well as drafting pleadings, applications and key legal correspondence, while building strong client relationships and developing genuine ownership and autonomy over your matters.

About You

- 4+ years PAE within commercial dispute resolution and litigation




- Experience in professional indemnity and/or public liability insurance is highly regarded
