Our client specialises in defence, aerospace and commercial related processing and surface coatings. A rare opportunity has arisen to join their team.

We require Store Person with a Forklift Licence and Experience in processing inwards and outwards goods

The Job:

Operating a forklift

Receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices

Unloading vehicles, opening packages, and removing contents

Data entry and paperwork

Labelling, packing and weighing goods and sealing boxes, including the handling known Consignor shipments as required

Lifting products (up to 15 kg)

Stocking shelves, moving goods around store, stacking bulky goods safely





Use materials handling equipment, such as hydraulic pallet lifters and hand trolleys, to move goods

Assist in other sections and departments, performing functions including but not limited to polishing and operating the aluminum briquette machine as required

General warehouse duties including housekeeping and cleaning of the warehouse

Desirable Experience and Skills

High Risk Work Licence (Forklift Licence)and a Ride on forklift

Physically Fit

Experience in despatch operations – inwards and outwards goods

Understanding of safety and strong commitment to WH&S; policies and procedures

Accurate records keeping capabilities

Time management skills and ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
