Job Description

Manna NT Pty Ltd We are looking for experienced dedicated Chef and Cook who is committed to exceeding our customers' expectations whilst leading a professional and hardworking team. The eligible candidates will be performing the following duties: Chef:

- Prepare all dishes to our high standard consistently.
- Updating menu accordingly.
- Following food preparation process.
- Keeping records of inventory, placing order everyday depending on reservation.
- Supervising other kitchen staff, make sure all the staff members are following OH&S; and food hygiene rules.
- Creating weekly roster.
- Controlling stock level.
- Offering dishes outside the regular menu to meet customers dietary requirement with existing material.
- Training other kitchen staff.

- To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following:
- Familiar with operating WOK, 50cm
- Advanced understanding and appreciation of all aspects of food and its service
- 5 + years of proven kitchen experience in a quick paced, high-volume setting
- Qualifications in commercial cookery
- Cert IV or higher
- Flexible availability
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Effective communication skills
- Overall knowledge of operations, ordering, stock control and working to budgets
- Cook:
- Operating Ovens, Grills, Deep Fryer, Slow Cooker and other cooking equipment.
- Peeling,



Cutting and Chopping food.
- Marinade and seasoning food during food preparing and cooking.
- Cooking gravies and sauces by following the in-house recipe.
- Garnishing dishes.
- Storing food accordingly.
- Keeping cool room, freezer and food temperature records.

- cleaning kitchens, food preparation areas and sculleries.
- cleaning cooking and general utensils used in kitchens and restaurants
- assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking
- packing food

- Familiar with operating WOK, 50cm
- 1 + years of proven kitchen experience in a rapid paced, high-volume environment Qualifications in commercial cookery
- Cert IV or higher
- Qualifications in commercial cookery
- Cert IV or higher

- Schedule:
- 38
- 45 hours / week
- Rotating roster
