Join Bravus' * Vacation Student Program and gain practical industry experience across our surface mining operations at our Carmichael mine.
Throughout the program, participants will gain exposure to a diverse range of mining and business functions, including surface operations, maintenance settings, mine planning and operational support. There will also be opportunities to contribute to business improvement initiatives across the site.
Working alongside our experienced site teams, you will build practical, hands-on experience with the equipment, systems and day-to-day operations of a working mine.
This placement is on a remote sitewith a
fly-in fly-out roster
and you will be staying in camp accommodation. Successful applicants will be employed casually for a week program starting end of November.
We are ideally looking for students who are currently based in
Townsville,
Rockhampton
or
Mackay.
Flights are provided from Townsville, Rockhampton or Mackay. Travel from any other location is at the candidate's own arrangement and expense. The fields we are recruiting for in * are:

About You
Currently studying a Bachelor's degree in engineering, surveying or a related discipline
Successful applicants will berequired to obtain a Standard 11Surface Coal Induction and aQueensland Coal Board Medical, andto complete drug and alcoholscreening prior to and during their
placement on site.
Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn
Solid problem solving skills and analytical ability
